
Counselling and Casework
Our centre provides counseling and casework service to individuals and families facing
social difficulties. This includes assisting
families with financial problems, relationship problems, parenting issues and violence issues.

Information and Referral
Through this service, residents in need of
social services are linked up as necessary. Relevant information would be provided and referral directly made to assist the residents where required.

Healthy Start Programme
This programme focuses on helping families with children below 6 years old. It aims to strengthen family functioning, enhance
parent-child interaction, promote positive parenting and provide optimal child development. |

TRANS ABC Programme
TRANS ABC is an enrichment support programme mainly for 2½–4 year old children from low income families who are not attending any formal childcare and pre-school programme. It provides a safe and nurturing learning environment to promote the physical, social, emotional, aesthetic, intellectual and language development of children. The
curriculum uses a thematic approach and incorporates both play-based and non play-based activities, offering the children lots of hands-on experiences to reinforce their learning.

Read@TRANS
This is a 2-hour Saturday programme that aims to stimulate an interest in reading for the 5-6 year old children from needy families. It exposes them to various reading materials and encourages them to converse in an English environment. Programme includes story-telling, small group reading, music and movement, computer-aided learning, phonics and reading games. |

RUN Kids Programme
RUN Kids is specially tailored for children in Primary Two who require assistance to improve their English proficiency. At the same time, the children also go through a series of groupwork sessions which focus on enhancing their self-esteem and coping skills.

Befriending Programme
Befriending programme aims at providing friendship and support to children who are experiencing difficulties at home, in school or in the community. This programme is supported by volunteers who are matched to the children. Sessions are once a week where volunteers provide the necessary support to the children.

Family Education
Workshops and talks are conducted for parents to support them in their roles as parents in Singapore. The following are some of our programmes:
