What
we do
A
Caregiver is a caring Christian friend:
— who listens attentively
— who walks beside a hurting person
— who encourages with Christ's love
A
Caregiver is NOT...
— a therapist
— a problem-solver
— a casual visitor
A
BMC Caregiver is a member of BMC, and one who has
gone through the 20 hrs of Lay-helping skill-training with BMC Care
Network. He/she has a passion to help/support those who may need ‘special
care’, on a one-to-one relationship; to walk through the ‘crisis’
with the person in need, for a period of time. The BMC Caregiver will
maintain a high level of confidentiality of the needs of the Care-receiver.
