The Singapore Pre-school Accreditation Framework (SPARK) is a quality assurance framework introduced by the Ministry of Education to raise the quality of pre-schools in Singapore.

Bedok Methodist Church Kindergarten (BMCK) was established in 1984 to offer pre-school children a programme that emphasizes their total development in the areas of:

A skill–based curriculum approach is used. Young children are exposed to a hands-on enquiry-based learning through the use of rich and high quality literature. We emphasise the development of the fundamental skills necessary to promote effective learning in young children.
Lessons are carefully planned by highly qualified and experienced teachers who develop lesson packages which are engaging, challenging, inquiring and developmentally appropriate for young children.
We recognise that each child is unique with different aptitudes and interests and we respect his or her active, responsible contribution to the learning process.
As a church-run kindergarten, we have added a Christian dimension to our programme that aims to nurture Christian values and character in all.
We offer English and Chinese reading programmes for all levels and a phonics programme.
For BMC Kindergarten to achieve its objectives, parents and the kindergarten strive to work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect, sharing the progress of the children and planning for their development.
Learning is enhanced as we offer enrichment classes before or after school and during school holidays. Classes include Speech & Drama, Art appreciation and Lego Robotics.
Our Operating Structure
Levels Available:
1. Pre-Nursery 2½ - 3 yrs old 2. Nursery 3 - 4 yrs old Two Sessions: 1st Session (AM) : 8.30am – 11.30am
2nd Session (PM) : 11.45am – 2.45pm
3. Kindergarten 1 4 - 5 yrs old 4. Kindergarten 2 5 - 6 yrs old Two Sessions: 1st Session (AM) : 8.30am – 12.30pm
2nd Session (PM) : 11.45am – 3.45pmChildren will attend Kindergarten from Monday to Friday. There are 4 terms in a year (10 weeks in each term).
