About Us

The Committee on Senior Members Ministry ( CSMM ) encourages senior members who are 55 years and above to participate in active, healthy and meaningful activities within the Church and outside, in Christian faith and service.

A few seniors have been visiting home-bound church members monthly. Activities include bringing the residents of the Christalite Home out for lunch at least twice a year, serving the residents of the Moral Home of the Aged light refreshments, visiting a place of interest before supporting the GYM High Tea and Bethany Home carolling with the Boys Brigade in conjunction with the Sharity Gift Box around Christmas.

Every Tuesday morning a group of seniors come together for table tennis and in the afternoon for line-dancing.

The CSMM welcomes volunteers for visits to Moral Home, Christalite Home and Bethany Home and any new committee members.

Objectives

1.	To create awareness within the church that CSMM is an integral part of the entire body of Christ.
2.	To affirm the local church in general and the senior members in particular of their “usefulness and potential” regardless of their age.
3.	To encourage senior members to participate in active, healthy and meaningful activities within and outside the church, in Christian faith and service.

On-going Programmes

1.	Line Dancing on every Tuesday in BMC from 2 – 5pm.
2.	Table tennis fellowship on every Tuesday in BMC from 2 – 5pm.
3.	Monthly visitation to home-bound members.
4.	Participate in talks organized by TRAC Board of Seniors Ministry.
